A journey of self-healing through movement and dance
What is Healing Movement?
Healing Movement is a unique method I developed over years of work as a dancer and choreographer. The method enables anyone — even with no prior dance experience — to experience healing through movement.
In every session we create a safe, intimate, judgment-free space where the body leads and words rest. Through breathing, relaxation, guided imagery and free movement — participants discover new layers of expression, connection and release.
Dance and movement are not just art — they are a tool within each of us to communicate, pray, rejoice, grieve, release, and be together. Just like in every tribal tradition we've nearly forgotten. Healing Movement is the bridge between the dance world and everyone.
THE PHILOSOPHY
Body and Mind — Always Together
To change something in the body, you first need to change something in your thinking. And vice versa — when the body isn't well, it affects the mind. Body and mind are always together. This is the foundation of everything.
We've forgotten how to move, how to let the body process, how to listen. Our hips store all the trauma and experiences we carry. When we pass through pain without fearing it — we reach greater joy, deeper release, flow, and happiness.
Sometimes we need difficulty in order to grow — like in flexibility. We need to surrender to the discomfort, and through it we find greater flexibility in body and mind.

THE SPACE
Your Playground
I always say at the opening: I give guidance throughout the session, but you don't have to listen to me. This is your playground. This is your time to truly be attuned to yourselves. If there's something else you want or need to do — do it.
No one judges you here. I experienced a lot of criticism in the dance world, and I saw how much destruction it brings. When we're critical, we forget the essence — the joy and playfulness. Here we create a space where everything is allowed: to move, scream, cry, laugh, go wild, lean on someone, and release trapped energy.
I use a tool called attunement — I deeply sense the people, the energy and each person's needs. A participant once told me: "I felt like you read me like an X-ray — it was exactly what I needed."
WHAT YOU GET
What Happens in a Workshop?
In the workshop we give space to the full range of emotions living within us — and allow them to express through the body. With general guidance and compassionate support, we surrender to the absolute freedom within us and move from there.
- Shed layers of self-criticism, shyness and rigidity

- Deepen into the pain, release it outward, and from there — cleanse
- Return to the strengths within us that make each of us unique

- Remember how much wisdom exists in nature — and parallel it to the internal processes we're going through

Who Is It For?
Healing Movement welcomes all bodies — the injured, the flexible, the shy, dancers and non-dancers alike — to dive in. Learn to move, feel, and reach release. People of all ages and body types come to me — professionals, people with illness, people with trauma, older adults, young people, dancers and non-dancers.
People who experienced trauma told me that what took two years with a psychologist happened in one workshop. We don't need to know how to dance beautifully to discover that the body traces the path to the heart.
The workshop is less suitable for those who come with closed cynicism or without willingness to open up. You don't need to "believe" in anything — but it's important to come with curiosity and willingness to try.
THE JOURNEY
Workshop Flow
Each workshop is a ~2-hour layered journey. Every session looks different — it's highly dynamic and intuitive, attuned to the people and their needs.
Writing & Opening Circle
Intuitive writing and drawing, self-introduction and setting intentions. Sometimes we sit around an altar and draw cards. A space to arrive with everything you bring.
Breathing Exercises
Guided breathwork to quiet the thoughts, disconnect from the day so far, and bring awareness to the here and now.
Guided Imagery Relaxation
Lying down, deep grounding, connecting to the body through guided imagery. Hila leads with visuals from the natural world — seasons, plants, natural phenomena — that connect us to the body and the earth.
Warm-up & Movement
Through the guided imagery we begin to move, gradually activating the body. Every instruction is accompanied by nature imagery — the body flows like water, stretches like branches, moves like wind.
Intuitive Dance
Free dance and improvisation — rapid transitions between emotions, past experiences, different states of consciousness. Hila guides participants into different movement worlds. Everyone in their own movement — not copying the teacher, but asking what is truly right for me now.
Shared Dance & Closing
Group celebration, ending with high energy and high frequency. From there, winding down to relaxation, release on the floor, and a closing circle. We always end on a good note.
Connection to Nature
I love working with nature — both in the studio and outdoors. Throughout the workshop, the guidance is accompanied by imagery from the natural world: seasons, plants, natural phenomena. When we go out into nature, something different opens in us — a new perspective, a different angle. Some workshops and course sessions take place in nature.

What's overflowing in me and what do I need to nourish?
